====== PUG'ing with Peace and Quiet ====== Whether you're reading this as a new PUG or you've found your way here having already joined us for some fun and games: welcome! We hope you had (or are about to have) a good time. For the most part these are common sense rules. The axioms PQ is built upon are located in the [[introduction]], and all raid members regardless of guild are expected to bring their sense of humour and ensure their disposition is fully repaired. ===== Raid technical setup ===== * The official raid channel (/ra) will be used for raiding. Explanation of tactics will take place over voice if everyone has access to it, otherwise they will be typed. * Voice, while not mandatory, is encouraged for ease during the raid. ===== Before raid invitations ===== * If you've recently suffered a crash, please double check your game settings and test your voice communications. * Get repairs. * Check potion and other consumable supplies. * Ensure you've packed the correct gear (resist, alternate, etc). ===== Setting up and waiting around ===== * Head over to the raid instance. * Start summoning people. We allow for a lot of dead time in the schedules, but it's better to be early than late! * Be patient! The raid organiser is probably busy. * Start buffing up where appropriate. ===== Looting ===== * Loot distribution is set to "Group Loot" in all our raids at all times. * For BoP items: * A "Need" roll indicates a current role upgrade.. * A "Greed" roll indicates an alternate role upgrade, or current role sidegrade. * BoE items follow the same rules as above; need if you need, otherwise greed.
