Peace and Quiet

Welcome to Peace and Quiet.

Also off for a while.

I'm off for a while too, not sure for how long. Thanks for all the great times everyone, will still be in touch and you all have my MSN address (or if you don't, just ask someone who does!).

Bye for now.

Away for a day

Or in my case, until January1). I debated putting anything up on the front here, but it needs the attention. My account is deactivating on September 11th 2009, so if you would like more permissions in order to put up raids and invite members, then please contact me before then.

You're free to choose whatever path you'd like in order to continue this enterprise, either with PQ, or if you feel it's time to branch out on your own with other guilds, so be it! Regardless of your choice, I will look to return to the game and pick it up in January and wish you the very best of luck.

You've made me very proud.

Vezax Down!

… and Yogg into phase 2! A great night for progression, well done for sticking with it! With raid extensions, it should now be possible to extend until Yogg is down.

Thorim & Freya Down!

Mimiron into phase 4, well on it's way down. Don't forget to check out the Tankspot videos if you missed out as a nice overview. Thorim was a one shot, Freya took a little more practice and Mimiron looks horrendous until you get there, then it's actually a very nicely paced fight, with just enough going on to be interesting, without so much going on as to be not fun.

Raid extensions to come; and thus begins the run up to Shub-Niggurath Yogg-Saron.

Slow start

With a couple of people on holiday this reset, after a lot of discussion, we'd rather wait for a couple of solid guild days to work on the Watchers instead of risking a bad Ulduar pug at this stage and souring morale before we get into more progress raids.

Tonight's raid was excellent, with convincing kills on everything from Flame Leviathan to Hodir (Razorscale, Ignis, XT, Kologarn, Iron Council and Auriaya). Most were comfortable kills, which convinces me that we should be able to farm up a little more gear yet.

If there are attendance issues, it's likely the first bosses to drop off the kill-list will be Razorscale, Ignis, the Iron Council and possible Hodir, giving even one Ulduar raid a week a chance at some further progression.

The next raid will be early next week, current plans are for August 18th. Kindly update your availability and something should go up in a couple of days' time.
